The only additional charges are for our trainer's expenses. These include travel, motel, meals and possibly a rental car to your training site. Digitally Tuned Tracking Receivers: Care Trak receivers are digital; however, many people confuse internal digital components, which are what Care Trak receivers use, with digital read-out LCD Screens. Care Trak does not use digital read-out screens because they are difficult to read in sunlight and do not work well in cold temperatures.

Most Equipment/Training Cost was and can be Provided By a Civic Club: Care Trak is a great community-policing project. Almost everyone knows someone who has or has had Alzhiemer's Disease; and, Autism is now the fastest growing disability affecting 1 in every 150 children. Clubs like the Lions, Rotary, Kiwanis, Sertoma and other civic groups have provided funds, with no cost to the law enforcement agency. Our informative DVD is a great way to introduce Care Trak Systems to clubs and business organizations.

Telemetry Based, Not a Potentially Dangerous GPS/Cell Phone System: GPS (Global Positioning systems) and cell systems are great for tracking stolen cars, guiding you along a highway or finding a restaurant; but, bad for tracking at risk people. A good rule of thumb is anything that blocks the sunlight, blocks a GPS signal. GPS depends on orbiting satellites and will not locate a person in a building or in heavy covered brush. Our research and development engineers are currently working with GPS systems; however, as of today GPS is not viable or safe for at risk individuals.

Free Certification/Refresher Training: We will train up to 12 of your officers during our regular training session. We supply 1 tracking unit for every pair of officers. After your Care Track system is implemented, if you would like more officers trained or you would like to upgrade some of your previously trained officers to instructors, we will conduct the training at our Murphysboro training facility at no charge. Your department is responsible for travel, hotel, meals, and etc. expenses; but, the actual training is FREE.

Our Home Systems are 100% Compatible with Our Police Systems: Care Trak provides home equipment to families who have loved ones with Alzheimer's Disease; and especially, parents who have kids with Special Needs like Autism. This home equipment has two parts: a Perimeter System that alerts parents if their loved one leaves the yard and a Tracking System to locate their lost loved one. Again, this equipment is only available to Special Needs families and not sold to typical people.

Those who get our Home System MUST: Register with the participating law enforcement agency, if that agency has Care Trak equipment and training. These families are instructed to first call 911 in an emergency before the family attempts to locate their loved one with their Home tracking system.

Generates Positive Media Exposure: This program generates tremendous media exposure. typically all local TV Stations and the local newspaper show up at our training sessions. This exposure puts a positive light on the participating agency and helps launch the program. It is free and positive media exposure for the agency. We can show you how.
