Door Alarm System. Care Trak can monitor as many doors in a skilled nursing or residential care facility, as required. Configuration can include a single door, double door, outside gate or hallway. When a resident wearing a Care Trak ankle transmitter is within 2-3 feet of a monitored door, an amber light appears on the monitoring panel at the nurse's station; but, no alarms sound. If the wanderer opens the monitored door, a red light appears and an audible alarm instantly alerts staff members to the possible elopement. Visitors and staff can come and go without the alarm sounding, by entering a 4-digit exit code, which places that door in a stand-by status. The door automatically resets in approximately 10 seconds. Since no door alarm system is 100% fool proof, (usually because of human error) the Care Trak System includes the Exclusive Mobile Locater. Pricing is based on the number of doors monitored, monitoring stations and transmitters required. The Exclusive Care Trak Mobile Locater. This high-tech yet user-friendly radio frequency receiver can locate a wandered resident, after they're out of sight. Tracking range is up to a MILE on the ground, day or night, inside or outside the facility, with up to 5+ miles from the air. The Mobile Locater comes in two models. The CTR-16 can locate up to 14 separate residents, while the CTR-1000 can locate up to 200 separate residents. Both units are 100% portable and can be taken along with staff members on resident outings. The Mobile Locater provides fast and accurate tracking capabilities for a fraction of the cost of other systems without locating capabilities. Many facilities have purchased the Care Trak Mobile Locater as an additional means of security, even when they already have another company's door alarm system.
